Photography from the wild.
Landscape and lifestyle photography from the remote corners of New England (and beyond).
About
I'm Jake Dombek, a photographer and video creator drawn to the remote corners of the map. I grew up in Vermont and fell in love with wild places thanks to a series of canoe trips in Ontario and an unforgettable 800-mile paddle from British Columbia to Alaska.
These days, I’m based in New England, where I photograph landscapes, lifestyle moments, and the quiet beauty of backcountry travel. Photography helps me reconnect with the natural world, and hopefully inspires others to do the same.
Field Journal: Eight Hundred miles to Alaska
In 2019, my best friend and I paddled and camped our way from British Columbia to Juneau, Alaska — over eight hundred miles of ocean, islands, storms, and silence. It changed everything.
