Inside Passage Canoe Trip

800+ Miles through the Pacific Ocean.

In the summer of 2019 my friend Liam and I set out to paddle over 800 miles through the Pacific Ocean from Lund, British Columbia to Juneau, Alaska. We'd never paddled more than a day on the ocean before and never attempted an expedition of this magnitude. Both of us grew up canoeing the many rivers of Northern Ontario and Quebec, but this trip confronted us with a whole new set of challenges. We knew we could never be fully prepared for what we would encounter, but spent the good part of the fall of 2018 and the Winter & Spring of 2019 planning out every detail we could. The beauty and sheer "bigness" of the region we paddled through can never fully be captured by any medium. We were humbled, challenged, and astounded by wildlife and beauty everyday.
